I am very satisfied with this piece. If I ever have enough time, I'd like to make an animation out of it. With wind and everything.

By the way, I have Cinema 4D R10 now! I made a killer scene in that, but the rendertimes were so abhorrently long (50+ hours and the thing still wasn't halfway done- the volumetrics were pretty though) that I only rendered the foreground plate. I'll try to work on another scene in that soon.

beautiful, I love the trees, especially the trunks for some reason. The grass is amazing. It looks so messy and yet so perfect. The sunlight on the trees is awesome.

Thank you! Yeah, at first I wanted to have the sun hitting the cliff from the side, but then I realized the effect of the sun behind the trees with the mist would be better.

Thanks. Sorry about the clouds. They're there to stay. But if I make it into an animation, the camera will pan left and then you'll have your clouds. And an island.
